Story

The residents especially the young people are trying for years now to build an access walkway to the white sand beach at Rolling bay off the south coast of Salt River main road in Clarendon.

I have watched them on many visits trying to create an access on the ground walkway, I spoke to them and found out that they want to create this access to uplift the community by offering visitors local and tourist the chance to visit this wonderful place and enjoy it.

It will help bring income to this struggling community and offers visitors the chance to surf, body board surfing, snorkel and swim at this location. This place is now only accessible through a swampy terrain which the residents don't want to disturb hence a bamboo walk way including 2 small bamboo bridges. The above ground walkway would stretch for between 500 yards to a mile.

The unique design will allow for continuous maintenance and upgrades and allow the residence to escort visitors to Rolling Bay safely and to provide food, and refreshment for the visitors at reasonable cost plus maintaining the beach and its environs.
