£2 can make such a difference!

I was injured while serving in the military and as far as i was concern i was not worth anything anymore! Not that any knew this because i used to wear a happy mask on the outside while inside i just wanted to curl up into a ball and die, this was due to the physical and mental pain!

Then Prince Harry invented the Invictus Games and my life changed dramatically. After applying for tickets to watch wheelchair basketball, i was invited to come and have trials for the Team to play in London, i was massively overweight and a Very heavy drinker! The six months of trials was amazing and changed my whole outlook on my disability and more importantly my abilities!

since those first days of training ive lost loads of weight, reduced my drinking and live a healthy lifestyle. Ive won 8 medals (4 Gold) both in the UK and in America and do motivational speaking on the benefits of exercise when dealing with mental health issues.

I have truely got my life back! But now my wife Joy ( A Lupus and Fibromyalgia Sufferer ) and we want to start helping other people, to give something back, Our dream is to start a Care Farm for anyone with disabilities, visual and hidden wounds to come along enjoy the tranquilty, enjoy the fresh air, stay in a shepards hut or yurt, where they can work with the animals or just relax in a safe environment without the pressures of the outside world.

I am a Help4Heroes Ambassador and we aim to fill a gap in the care which H4H provides. There is not a local H4H care centre which covers the North West, The Midlands and North Wales.

we are located just outside of the Snowdonia National Park which is an amazing part of the world.

some of the activities would be looking after Bees, Alpacas, milking goats, making cheese, keeping chickens, and pigs, spining wool,, mindfulness, photography to name a few we have a long list of ideas!

Through the support and investment of my parents and investing my war pension into the idea we are getting closer to reality! But now we need your help!!!
