Story

As a start-up architectural design company, one of my current projects is to initiate a social architecture project that aims to provide affordable and sustainable residence for families in the impoverished regions of West Africa.

The aim is to use simple and inexpensive materials and get as many unemployed residents to assist. Thus encouraging a transfer of skills and knowledge. This project also works as an enabler of social tourism within these disadvantaged communities.

As part of the second year of my architecture degree. This project will see me alongside other architecture students, designing and building a residential block of flats in Nigeria.

We will be designing, planning and initiate constructing in March/April 2020. The money being raised is for the building materials necessary for the completion of the project. I am very excited about this project and feel privileged to be taking part in such a worthwhile cause. Further details of the project will be released shortly.
