I've raised £5000 to improve the living environment and fund activities for individuals with learning disabilities at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital in Ghana.

The Accra Psychiatric Hospital is situated in Accra Ghana. It is home to a number of individuals aged from 10 to 30. As these individuals have a myriad of learning disability issues, their growth is stunted in more ways than one. When in their midst, it is clear to see that, given some educational stimulus, their lives could be improved. They however do not have the privilege due to a lack of support. The service users also lack recreational activity and are therefore stuck in their living space on a daily basis. A lack of resources means that their environment is quite poor. It is a sad sight to see hence my determination to raise some money and send a shipment of goods, which will benefit the individuals and give them something to smile about. I hope that you can lend your support to this great cause and make a difference to their lives.
The money will go towards repainting the home, fixing plumbing, creating better storage spaces, providing educational aids and providing clothes and food. Please remember that every little helps.
