Kamaliyyah Current and New Activities (new Building)

    Principal objectives:

    1. To provide Islamic education and spiritual guidance to the Muslim community in the UK, with a special emphasis of training and nurturing the youth to become leaders of the future and outstanding citizens.

    2. To promote good community relations between the Muslim community the local community and all faiths.

    3. To promote the true values of Islam, peace. tolerance, kindness, forgiveness and charity

    4. To help and support all members of the community irrespective of their faith.

What We Are Currently Doing (Phase 1)

Alhamdulillah, with Allah’s help, we have already established Phase 1 of our overall plan for Al-Kamaliyyah Academy. In Phase 1, within a short period of 2 years we have so far established the following:

➢ Unique and practical adults & children’s daily classes (Qur’an, Tajweed, Hifdh, Arabic Grammar)

    ➢ Weekly Seminars

    ➢ Sisters Courses (Study Circles)

    ➢ Fun-days

➢ Youth Trips & Leadership skills building

➢ Little Gems (Islamic foundation for children aged 5 -12 years old through activities (taught by qualified school teachers)

➢ Charity Work, Helping Refugees and Orphans

➢ Nikaah services & Counselling (marriage, family issues etc.)

➢ Helping Muslims in prisons and hospitals.

    ➢ Training youth

    ➢ Support for Revert Muslims

➢ YouTube channel & Facebook page

We have achieved all the above in a few rooms situated on the 1st floor of a small building, for which we are paying a monthly rent. However, there is a growing demand to cater for the increasing number of students and the local community’s diverse needs. Due to the limited capacity within our existing building, we are struggling to meet these demands/needs.

See examples of our work below.

Children Classes (Qur’an, Tajweed, Hifdh, Arabic Grammar):

Youth Trips & Leadership skills building:

    Adult Classes & Weekly Seminars:

Charity Work, Helping Refugees and Orphans:

Children and Teens Fun Days - including games such as FIFA Tournament etc (prizes given for winners):

Little Gems (weekend classes for 5 -12 year olds):

Expanded Activities in New Premises (Phase 2)

We must now implement Phase 2 of our plan. The existing rented building has been used to meet the above needs for Brothers; Sisters and Children’s; but the demand for existing and expanded facilities has far exceeded all our expectations and the current building is now inadequate and does not allow further (expansion of such activities).

As a result, the Muslim community has been suffering and has been pushing Al-Kamaliyyah to expand and offer the kind of services that no one else in the vicinity or Greater Manchester as a whole is offering. Phase 2 will be to purchase our new building (we need to raise £200,000 within 30 days) and provide the following facilities to meet the current demand:

➢ All existing activities (see Phase 1)

➢ State of the Art Media Room (state of the art online teaching, Da’wah, Weekly Islamic TV/Radio)

➢ Nursery, Morning & After School Club

    ➢ Segregated facilities and entrances

➢ Resource rooms for age 11 to University Students

    ➢ Youth Centre & Counselling

➢ Education intervention (help those weak in academic and Islamic studies)

➢ Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation unit for Muslims involved in such Haraam activity

    ➢ Homeless food distribution

As mentioned above briefly to have our new premisis in North Manchester ready/secured we have a 30 day deadline to raise the funds needed. Al Kamaliyyahs small team of dedicated individuals have been working tirelessly day and night for the past five years to get to this stage and it would be a great loss for the community at large if this project was to stubmle at this final hurdle.
