Al Mustafa Centre is a masjid, an islamic learning centre, a community hub and most importantly a safe haven for children and youth. They work closely with the Police, Fire, Health and local community to improve the local area, the environment, lives of families and run information classes and events. They support community cohesion. In addition to this they have hosted a naat academy competition, have over 200 adult learners of Islamic education, have an extremely successful children's madrasaa and just in the last 3 years 7 children have completed their Hifz of the Quran.
This is a community hub that has helped so many young children and youth stay off the streets and potentially fall into life of crime, gangs, grooming, etc. The building is in need of redevelopment and needs too much work.
Please support me in helping to raise this money and I will be doing a climb of the Pen-y-Ghent mountain in the summer. Every time a person reads, learns something and acts upon their knowledge, recites the words of the Quran you will also be part of that reward.. something which will continue both in this world and the next.
