Assalamualaykum everyone this is a charity that my father has set up. He has has been teaching the Quran to the visually impaired and those with learning difficulties for many years. In order to do this, he had to learn Braille himself first. It is now his passion to continue helping those with learning difficulties to read and understand the Quran. Al Qalam Vision Institute is a unique and specialist Islamic institute that addresses the needs of a growing Muslim population in the North West of England with visual impairment, who have no access to Islamic learning. In the region we have over 200 Muslims who are registered blind or visually impaired.
