In March 2017, our son went round his Polish ex-girl friends house to pick up his son for a weekend, only to find she, her mother and his son had absconded to Poland, breaking an English mediation ruling. On finding this out my son and my wife jumped on a plane to Poland and found a solicitor to take on the case for his return, the case went to court and we won, citing the mother and our grandson had 90 days to return to the UK. His ex-girl friend appealed the case and somehow won the second court case. since then it has meant my son has to get a court ruling to see his son only for 4 hours at a time and has to have a court official with him. we have now started proceedings in the UK for my son to have access to see his son on his own, which is going to cost upward of £20000, we have already spent over £6000 on this case in Poland, with flights, court costs, Solicitors, interpreters etc.

We have had an uphill battle with fighting this case for over a year, and very little help from the British Embassy, courts in this country or anybody else until now.
