Cancer. The one word we all hate. The one word we all fear. The one word we wish could be non existent.

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.

It can not be enforced enough how important it is not only to help fight this horrible disease, but to help support those suffering. Nobody deserves to feel alone.

That's why this year I have chosen complete a bike ride from Paris city centre to Swansea. I have chosen to do this ride in aid of magnificent charity so close to many peoples hearts throughout the country. Maggies Cancer Care.

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie’s Centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Completing a bike ride back in 2014 from Paris to Barcelona and a bike ride from Paris to Swansea back in 2015, all in aid of this wonderful charity, made myself and many others realise how vital this charity is to so many people, just to bring a little light to them in their darkest days.
I hope to raise as much money as possible to help this charity support people suffering from this horrible disease.
