We are not letting Lockdown get the better either of our love of music, or our concern for local good causes!

Waterside Food Bank is a great local charity, part of a nationwide chain of volunteer groups supporting those most in need in their local communities. They write

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

"We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. "

As Marchwood Music Society is unable to hold its annual Christmas fundraising concert, we are instead arranging a grand "Playathon". On November 28th members of Marchwood Music Society will be playing at home to form a chain of continuous music from 0900-2100, and now seek your support to get behind our local Food bank once again. Please be as generous as you can!
