I've raised £2500 to buy much needed training equipment kit boots and shin pads that the U8s U10s U12s and U14 girls teams need to play the game of football

The reason I am setting this up is because I have 2 girls that play football every week and they love it so much that I feel it would be appropriate to give something back to the community and help out at Grassroots level by either sponsoring an event or funding much needed training/match day equipment and kit for all our girls teams.
We also have some parents that can't afford to buy shin pads or boots this money can help them too. My daughters play Cheltenham Town Lady's FC (Youth) and I am a coach at U14 level. I have been with the club as a coach for 5 years now starting at U10s and as with most youth football teams, it is run without profit by a team of volunteers who give their time and effort for the benefit of these young girls.
I also care about the direction of football in general and grassroots football is where it all begins.
Girls football is growing and these girls are as passionate about football as anyone but are unable to train/play without the right equipment.
These girls love playing and coming to training sessions it's a good way to keep them fit and helps them socially as well.
We have over 100 girls across all ages that need your help to continue training and playing.
The difference to the girls is almost immediate. Seeing them progress and develope is very rewarding and with better equipment, better facilities this can only aid their development.
The girls need this kind of thing in the community but they don't fund themselves. They need help and you can help them continue enjoying the sport they love. We do fundraising events including BBQ discos soak the coach and beat the goalie but this only covers a small amount of what we need as a club.
It's a real eye opener to see young girls with a love of the game but we need the funds to keep them playing.
Anything you could give no mater how small would really help all these girls to carry on doing a sport they enjoy and would be greatly appreciated by all at the club.
All money raised will be used straight away to provide the nessasery equipment for all teams. New kits and training tops will make us look more like a club with every child turning up in the same kit.
Any child that wants to train with us but are unable to afford football boots or shin pads the club will be able to provide them.
Later this year myself and membes of my team/club will be doing a 5k run for cancer.
