This is Toni and her 10 month old twins Charlotte and Francesca For the past 6 months Toni has been subjected to escalating terrible verbal and physical violence. The police have finally got their fingers out , and arrested and charged her ex partner with numerous counts of assault and battery. He has recently appeared in court for these offences, and has been found guilty on all counts. Sentencing had been slightly delayed but by next week we hope a custodial sentence is handed out. In the interim, East kent housing and Dover district council in their infinate wisdom, have served Toni with an eviction notice. It would appear that her cries of pain and screams of terror contravine the nuisance and anti social behaviour terms of her tenancy agreement, and she has to be out by Sept 25th. An appeal has been lodged , but we dont hold out much hope. What she needs for her and her girls is enough money to put down a deposit on a privately rented house or flat, and enough money for a couple of months rent. She has been through the mill , but still manages to care for her babies with all the love in the world. So please help this lovely young family to put down some roots , and start to live a happy life. Thank you
