I've raised £1500 to support Oncology unit at St Johns Hospital and Dreamflight Childrens Charity

My wee trip around the country at various events this year, hoping to raise some £££s for couple of worthy causes - anything you can donate is greatly appreciated.

The oncology unit provides a calm and welcoming environment for patients and relatives supported by a multidisciplinary team who are available to help individuals through their cancer journey. The team, including MacMillan Support, do an amazing job in incredibly difficult circumstances. Anyone who's seen this team in action (as I did over a long period of time) know what they do for those attending this unit, and much of this care is self funded and a direct result of fundraising.
Dreamflight is a UK charity that changes young lives through taking children with a serious illness or disability, without their parents, on the holiday of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida. Established in 1987 and operating annually since, Dreamflight believes that fun and joy are just as important as medical research and equipment - especially for children who perhaps can't wait long enough for the breakthrough they need or whose illnesses and treatments have brought pain, distress and disruption to their lives.
