Weʼve raised £155 to Supporting the PLANETS charity, Southampton, into researching Pancreatic, Liver and Neuroendicrine Tumours. My Mother has terminal cancer.

    Salisbury, UK
Funded on Monday, 22nd June 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Dear Sponsor,

My name is Alannah and I am 16 years old. In August 2015 my mother was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the common bile duct) resulting in major surgery. In April 2016, my R.S teacher passed away from pancreatic cancer that he was battling with for two years. Due to these life, changing events, last year I had 15" of my hair cut off to raise money for the PLANETS charity in Southampton and to enable children battling cancer to have human hair wigs.

In March 2017 my family received the devastating news that my mother's cancer has returned affecting the blood flow to the liver and will have to undergo chemotherapy treatment. We have also found out that the cancer is terminal (life limiting)

In June 2018, my family received even more devastating news that my mother now has another cancer on her liver. Surgery isn't an option for my mother as it will pose a higher risk of cancer spreading to new parts of the body.

My reason for wanting your support is to help the research into Pancreatic, Liver and Neuroendocrine Tumours and your monetary donations will help this amazing charity.

On the 24th August 2019, I will be hosting a raffle/ coffee morning and auction with a few caring, kind, understanding friends who are helping and supporting me through out all this.

Some donations I have already are GHD curling iron £100, Bed head hair product bundle £470, rocket fuel coffee, Gtech vacuum cleaner £250, tea pigs bundle £74, Dyson vacuum cleaner £370, soap and glory £88, Douvall bundle £200, Furless cosmetics bundle £103... and a lot lot more.

Please help me reach or exceed my target to enable this charity to continue it's exceptional work.

I have attached the following links so you may get a better understanding of why I have such a passion for fundraising.

Many thanks for your time and generous donation

Alannah I'm still a full-time student who doesn't have a job. I don't have much money to donate. But I still hope the little money I could give is gonna help you and your mum even the slightest bit xx

Going through GCSE'S at 16 is stressful, but add on the news your mum has terminal cancer is even worse. So the only thing I thought I could do as a form of therapy was preparing for another charity event to help one day a cure cancer no matter how rare it is.
