    Story

After the sudden and tragic death of my dad who passed away of phneumococcal septisimia, caused by Type B Meningitis, I have been pasionate about saving lives and helping others when they are in most need of care. For every minute an AED or effective CPR is not used on a person in cardiac arrest, their chances of survival reduce by 10%. When an AED is used a persons chance of survival increases from 5%-24%. Being able to give early defibrilation on a person suffering from a cardiac arrest means more chance of them surviving it.

I am rasing money to buy an AED so that people in cardiac arrest in my area can be treated quickly and help save their lives, so their families do not have to go through what I have.
