In the middle of September Nyah Boden (aged 14) will be travelling to Tirana in Albania to get involved in running a Christian camp for teenagers from Saranda and the surrounding villages.

Anyone who has been to a youth camp such as Soul Survivor (UK) will know the immense value of being away from your normal situation to focus on encountering God. Nyah has had her life dramatically impacted by her experience of camps over the last few years.

Many of the teens Nyah will be working with come from a challenging background in this nation that is desperately trying to emerge from the post communist challenges of corruption, trafficking, poverty and injustice. Despite their challenges, the young people are excited to learn more about their faith and we believe some of them will discover Christ for the first time.

If Albania is going to be transformed by the power of the gospel then we know it needs to impact the next generation. There is great hope for the future if we hold on to the truth that "one generation shall tell of God's deeds to another."

We need to raise just £500 to get Nyah to the camp and then any extra raised will go towards covering the costs of the event and help develop the next generation of leaders.
