With the curtailment of all social and fund raising activities, the Albany Hounds have been thinking of ways to raise money. It costs approx. £10,000 pa to kennel, feed and look after the hounds, costs that continue despite the lock down. So the hounds are doing something they are particularly good at, and encourage all pet hounds to join in. A sponsored 'snooze-a-thon', with the aim of each hound sleeping 18 hours per day for one week from Monday 4th May. Soames & Roland (pictured below) have been practicing and they want all pet hounds to join in by sharing their photos and donating to our target of raising £1500, and encourage all 'human' supporters to sponsor the hounds taking part. Daily updates and photos will be shared, so lets give it go!
