Story
Hi, my names Albert, my family rescued me from a breeder when they noticed I was a very poorly puppy. Soon after they took me to the vets who unfortunatley revealed I had a rare condition called type 3 elbox luxation. This means that my elbows dont touch and I stuggle to walk without discomfort.
They then took me to meet Noel the supervet who said the only way to save me was to have both front legs opperated on and pin them straight. My family didnt care if it meant I walked funny and would love me regardless. They opperated on the first leg last month and shortly after the surgery my leg became infected, which meant even more costs for my family as ive had to stay there with a vaccum on my wound and a drip in my leg for the last four weeks.
I am a little fighter but this is going to be a long road for me, I am still to have the other leg opperated on as Noel felt that being a puppy I may accidentlty break the new plates used to keep my leg straight if i were to have them both done at the same time. I will then have to go through rehabilation to learn to walk as best as I can. My family have rescued other bulldogs like me but with my condition being so rare they are stuggling to pay my continuing vet bills.
Aside from my legs I am a playful, naughty and fun loving puppy who despite all odds has fought on to be in this world and I would really appreicate any donations to help my family to continue paying my vet bills. They never ask for anything but are begining to struggle with the costs so any amount would be amazing. Paws and Licks, Albert xx
