We are raising some extra funds for our project Long Covid Superheroes which has been generously funded by Arts Council England. Arts Council England require 10% of funds to be raised independently. We have gained some in-kind support from generous donors, but need a little more to reach our budget.

Long Covid Superheroes is a project for young people with Long Covid run by facilitators with Long Covid in partnership with Long Covid Kids. It’s a theatre and comic book project based on the idea that everyone with Long Covid has superpowers. Sessions will be trauma informed, covid-risk assessed, and tailored specifically to the needs of young people with Long Covid. For more info go to www.alchemisetheatre.co.uk

WHAT WILL MY MONEY FUND?

Your money will mostly go towards the cost of covid lateral flow-tests to ensure all staff and participants can test prior to sessions in order to safeguard the young people against reinfection.

£5 will cover 3x covid tests

£25.50 will fund all covid tests for one in-person session

£52 will cover the cost of covid tests for two in-person sessions

£255 will cover the cost of covid tests for one term of in-person sessions

Your money will also contribute to creative costs of running the project and other vital access costs to ensure the safety and comfort of our young participants. This includes:

> masks

> a HEPA air filter (known to cut viral transmission by 20%)

> beanbags and yoga mats for the comfort of participants
