I've raised £535.25 to invest in Maizzydee's wigs/hats for people suffering from hair loss through cancer treatment

I must be mad...but I’m going to give up alcohol for the summer in the hope that I might raise some money for charity. That’s 6 months TEE-TOTAL starting 20th March 2018 and ending 19th September 2018. That means no beer gardens, no festivals, no nights out (unless I’m driving!). Anyone who knows me will know this will be a big challenge for me!
Why? Earlier in the year I cut my hair off to donate to The Little Princess Trust so that they can use it to make a wig for a child suffering hair loss through cancer treatment. I want to extend that charity now to help women and men suffering hair loss for this reason.
Maizzydee's wigs are an established wig and hat provider who work closely with the NHS. I’d like to use the money raised from this to purchase wigs or hats for a number of people who need them. Maizzydee's have offered to provide a support service and fitting free of charge to support this activity. Maizzydee herself is a cancer survivor and developed her business so that she could provide a friendly and supportive service to others, that wasn't available to her in her time of need.
My goal is to raise a minimum of £500, this amount could afford 5 wigs...that’s 5 people whose lives could be drastically improved during the trauma that hair loss can bring.
If you are someone, who know someone who will benefit from this, please contact myself or Maizzydee's via www.MaizzyDees.co.uk.
