Honouring Theo: 100km for Sunflowers & Adora

On 21 June, my friend Theo died by suicide. In his memory, I’m raising funds to help others affected by suicide and to further contribute to a fund for his daughter, Adora, to access when she’s an adult.

Theo was a beautiful man; kind, compassionate, very funny and adored by everyone who knew him. He was an outstanding pillar of our local community, which has been left deeply saddened by his passing.

I plan to raise money by taking on the challenge of running 100km in a week, starting with the Stroud Half Marathon (21km) on Sunday 26 October and finishing with the Tetbury Goods Shed parkrun (5km) on Saturday 1 November, running the remaining 74km between Monday and Friday that week.

The money raised will be shared equally between Sunflowers Suicide Support (charity number 1177266) and a fund for Theo’s four-year-old daughter, Adora.
