Story

Alfies Legacy Fund was established 01.12.2017 on the 1st anniversary of the passing of my best friend and beloved dog Alfie. Alfie had extremely painful joints due to severe hip dysplasia and arthritis in his elbows. As part of his pain management an orthopaedic memory foam bed was introduced and made such a difference in his comfort, so on this to honour Alfies life I set up Alfies Legacy Fund to provide beds to Centres ( please go to www.alegacyfund.com on which centres) for dogs like Alfie, who are in pain.

On the 17.04.2019 I will be taking part in the 2nd Alfies Legacy Fund Charity Trike Ride of 48 miles and like Alfie I have arthritic joints, but also a couple of new knees (one recently) lower spine is fused and my right foot does not work, commonly known as 'drop foot', so I have to push myself through the pain. but to me raising money and helping so many, is what keeps me going (focusing and pushing through is something I learnt in the Army). So please even if it is £1 it really does all go towards the dog beds, I personally cover all delivery.
