I've raised £2000 to help fund Alejandra Roman's Law School application process.

My name is Alejandra Roman and I am currently a fourth year at UC Davis. I will be graduating in the Spring with a Psychology and Spanish Double Major and a Chicano Studies Minor. I am currently applying to law school for Fall 2020. However, applying to law school and preparing for the LSAT is expensive. I am hoping to receive some financial help, anything helps! I am very involved on campus. I am currently the Co-Chair of La Raza Pre-Law, an organization that provides resources for undergraduates interested in law school. I am also a Lead Tutor for BRIDGE, where I tutor 7-9th grade kids. I have spent my undergrad career preparing for law school and guiding others with my leadership positions in my pre-law organization. In Middle School I lost my sister in a “fatal accident.” The lawyers assigned to our family were not effective and justice wasn’t made for my sister. Coming from a low income family a great lawyer wasn’t affordable for us and seeing that her case wasn’t handled adequately led me to take an interest into criminal law. In her honor, I aspire to become a public defender. I hope to aid my community that also does not have sufficient resources to have their rights protected. Every person deserves an effective lawyer, and all my hard work will be aimed at igniting spark in granting justice to those who have lost someone like I have. It is my goal to give back to my community, the people who were there for my family and I when we needed them the most. For these reasons, law school is extremely important to me. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as everything will go to pay for the LSAC website, Testmasters Prep Course, LSAT Registration Fee, Application Fees, and other books to help me prepare for the LSAT. Thank you in advance and bless your beautiful souls.
