Hi everyone

As many of you know I retrained as a massage therapist two years ago alongside my teaching career, which I still do three days a week. I absolutely love being a therapist and always work with the philosophy “bring me those who I can help”

A twist of fate brought my attention to the cancer massage volunteer programme at an NHS hospital ( I’m not allowed to reveal the name) and after a successful interview I was accepted on to the programme which lasts a year, at the end of which I will be fully qualified, and able to work within the NHS & private settings.

Unfortunately I have to cover the cost of my own travel& parking which will come to just over £10 a day, I’ll be working one day a week. Many of you who know me are aware that I’m a single parent so an additional monthly cost won’t be easy for me. This is why I am asking for a donation no matter how small to help me on this programme this year.

Cancer is something that touches us all in some way so I hope you can help me out in making a difference.
