I've raised £2000 to help Alex Berresford attend the World Scout Jamboree 2019 in West Virginia.

Alex is proud to be have been selected by Leicestershire Scouts to be a part of the UK contingent for the 24th World Scout Jamboree.
Jointly hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts of Canada and the Scout Association of Mexico, the Jamboree will take place from the 22nd July to the 2nd August 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.
Alex will be working hard with the rest of the Contingent to raise over £4,000 each over the next 18 months. The fee will contribute to Alex's attendance at the event but also contributes to Scouts from other less fortunate countries allowing them to attend, supporting the aim of the Jamboree ‘Unlock a New World’.
The World Scout Jamboree is a unique, international adventure shaped by young people. By attending as part of the UK contingent, we will be able to have a positive impact not only on Scouting but also our local community.
If you are inspired by the potential of the World Scout Jamboree to enhance and develop the skills of the next generation, we invite you to contribute to our fundraising by making a donation.
