My name is Alex Cameron and in July 2018 I am going on a 4-week expedition to Kenya,Africa with Camps International.

While I am there I will be helping with a wide range of community projects. These projects include wildlife conservation projects, community development work e.g. building schools. Also hopefully partake in ongoing projects like litter picking and turning them into profitable products.

This is going to be extremely hard work, but I am young and fit 15 at the moment and at school. I am hard working, very enthusiastic and have a very deep compassion for people in need.

I am hoping to make a positive difference to the people in Kenya but feel sure they will make a difference to me. I will learn many new skills such as team working, time management, empathy and new practical skills.

I shall come back after the 4 weeks as more mature and knowledgeable which will help me in the long term. Not just at college or work but in UK communities.

To be able to do this I have to raise funds for the trip. I would love if you were able to donate minimum only £2 which is a cup of coffee.
