I've raised £3000 to go to the Mindstep Foundation, supporting mental health, in memory of Joseph Peake as a part of the fundraising done by Joe's family.

In September 2022 I will be running the Richmond Marathon in honour of a great role model and friend, Joe Peake, and in support of the Mindstep Foundation. The Mindstep Foundation funds mental health research, awareness and support, aiming to break the stigma attached to admitting, confronting and dealing with mental health issues, especially in young men. I will be fundraising towards the amazing efforts of Joe's family. Please see the main page where the donations will go to after the run: Fundraising in memory of Joe Peake.
I had the pleasure of working with and under Joe for a year and half. Joe was adored by everyone at Featurespace, with his vast skillset evident in every project that was lucky enough for him to be involved in. He was extremely kind, making the upmost effort to pass on his knowledge and skills, ensuring that I was set up for success. I also admired Joe's sharp wit, capable of putting a smile on the faces of a room within seconds. He still influences so much of what we do as a Product team at Featurespace and I think we are all so grateful to have worked so closely with him. Personally, Joe was also a great friend. We spent hours talking about football and marvelling at the results of the weekend, as well as discussing his meticulous Christmas shopping planning for his loved ones. Joe always encouraged me to achieve my goals professionally and personally therefore I am so grateful to be able to dedicate this challenge to him. I miss him greatly but I know he would be so proud of all of the amazing fundraising that his family are doing in his memory.
