I've raised £200 to Raise funds for Mannin Sepsis IOM, a local sepsis charity founded on 08/12/16.

After a talk at UCM, I have felt very passionate about doing something active for this wonderful local charity. The purpose of the charity is: the main reason why I wanted to be apart of all the fantastic work they do. They promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of Sepsis, also referred to as blood poisoning or septicaemia, in the Isle of Man, through the provision of support and advice. They also support those in the Isle of Man affected either directly or indirectly by Sepsis . Its also important to advance the education of the public in the Isle of Man in the subject of Sepsis , which they did when they did a talk to my tutor group last year. It was through sharing Ann’s ‘Sepsis’ tribute and Ali’s survival story, their aim to raise awareness about Sepsis was emotive and informative to me.
