Story

My name is Alex and Frankie is my nephew, I have made this page on behalf of Karolina who will be doing a skydive to raise funds for Frankie

🎉💙 Flying High for Frankie! 💙🎉

My first parachute jump is to help support our little superhero, Frankie, who is bravely battling illness. This daring leap of faith is all about raising funds to ensure Frankie gets the care and treatment he needs. 🌟

Every donation makes a difference – so please give whatever you can to help lift Frankie's spirits and give his family the support they deserve

Frankie needs an MRI to check for other bleeds and lecisons theoughout his body, some how due to miscommunication he was never reffered for this when advised in february, this is crucial for Frankie to detemrine whether there are other lecions on any other parts/organs of his body! His condition is unheard of in his age and the locations of his lecisons. Nobody in Belfast understands or can help Frankie, he needs specialised care and Belfast can’t offer it going private is our only option! HHT if left untreated can cause lifethreatning consequences.

Frankie travelled to Sheffield children’s hospital after the royal discovered haemangiomas during an endoscopy, Sheffield did their own investigations due to Frankie’s symptoms and couldn’t find the findings that Belfast had found, (a blessing in disguise) unfortunately what they did find after a camera pill test that was placed during his endoscopy found that 25% of Frankie’s small bowel is covered in a lecison his large bowel and colon also have lecisons, Frankie will undergo genetic testing for a condition called HHT also known as Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome, Frankie will fly back to Sheffield on the 4th of October to undergo surgery to treat the lecisons and biopsy to me done aswell, during Frankie’s last stay in Sheffield children’s hospital it was discovered that Frankie also has eosinophilic colitis and duodenitis this is a rare disease of the colon or large intestine, he is on medications three times a day to treat this to start but other treatment options may be needed in the future. Frankie suffers with pain and bleeding everyday.
