On the 25th of October 2016, I went to Greece for a school trip. We visited the Ancient Theatre of Argos and we found ten abandoned puppies and a very malnourished mother. On our return to England, I constantly thought about them and the contrast of their life compared to my own dog's. I felt compelled to help them and so I contacted the Greek Animal Rescue who sent someone from Athens to Argos to search for them. I was overwhelmed with excitement and happiness when on the second day of the search, the puppies and their mother were successfully located and taken to a local vet.

We urgently need to raise money to support the Greek Animal Rescue, to ensure these dogs get adequate veterinary care including blood tests, vaccinations, neutering (when the mum is well enough), boarding fees and highly nutritional food.

In Greece, these dogs would be strays. Often considered a nuisance or vermin, leading them to be mistreated and possibly inhumanely killed. With your generous donations, regardless of how large or small, I would like to ensure these dogs get a life they deserve and hopefully secure loving homes for them in the UK.
