I’m a volunteer dinner cook at Crawley Open House! My aim is to serve an exciting meal on my shift, far removed from trays of school dinners.

Feedback from the residents around the quality and variety of the meals you’re helping me produce has been overwhelmingly positive. I want to keep doing it and to do so, your donations and/or connections are essential.

Nutrition is a human right, but on top of just providing basic nutrition, I believe in choice, enjoyment and the social benefit of time set aside to break bread together. Nutrition is far more than just a physical health requirement, it’s pivotal to mental health too.

Each meal costs approx £60 and feeds up to 25 residents. I’d be very glad of your donations. Any contribution, no matter how small would be so appreciated! I’ll post photos of how your money has helped each week.
