My life has changed dramatically over the past couple of years, i was vomiting all the time and unable to keep enough food down for my body to carry out all normal functions. As a consequence i starting suffering from malnutrition . It took me a long time to get a diagnosis ( at that point weighing under 5 stone ) i then started on artificial feeding. I have had two tubes inserted, one in my stomach and the other into intestines so i can feed post pylorically ensuring i receive adequate nutrition. There is a procedure that is only offered privately , in which , would allow me to eat normally again. The procedure is called a gastric electrical stimulation for gastroparesis and is only performed by a select few consultants all over 100 miles from me (closest being Boomfield hospital in Chelmsford). It would change my life immeasurably and would let me lead life positively without going in and out of hospital
