Story
Let me introduce our family. So my amazing brother Alex was diagnosed with Juvenile Parkinson's Disease at the age of 11. Its been one hell of a roller coaster ride for all of our family especially my mum and I. Alex moved into a local care home so that he could get the best 24 hour care needed, but this resulted in Alex not being eligible for the motability scheme.
This has left us struggling to be able to keep the wheelchair accessible van we have running. It is getting really old and becoming more expensive to repair each time. We really need to be able to have a car that we can go and get Alex so he can come on family days out and so we can carry on making amazing memories but unfortunately we just cannot afford to get one.

4 years agoWith all your help we finally did it!!! Unfortunately due to the pandemic alex cannot see it or try it but soon as we can we are finally having a family day out!! We cannot thank any of you enough! Without your help big or small we wouldn't be here. We send so much love and thanks to you all ❤

5 years agoThank you so much to the people who have donated so far. Over the past few years we have been raising money for a new car by doing the Boxing Day Dip. It's been freezing I must say!! That money has been slowly adding up bringing us to just over £1000! Thank you for everyone who has supported us doing this every year! Unfortunately it's not enough on its own. So please keep sharing! 😊
