As its getting into winter, I've decided to do something unpleasant and shave my head.

This isn't just because I wanted to see if I could pull off the Bruce Willis look, its also because I was reminded of something when I first met Lola. How fricken cold the animals must get when the chill sets in.

More recently, the boiler at NANNA blew while there was an influx of puppies in desperate need of a wash! Its things like this that drain the resources that even the amazing volunteers can't cover with their unceasing handy work.

So please, as much as I hate putting the chugger hat on, think about how Lola and all the other animals would have been/will be in the coming months.
