The Sheffield Sabres U13s who are part of the Sheffield Ice Hockey Academy have been invited to play in an international tournament in Besancon, France this April.

The team compete in the English Ice Hockey North league and travel all over the north of England to places such as Billingham, Solihull, Manchester and Whitley bay.

Our team is made up of players who have been player for a number of years all the way down to players who have only been skating for a few months.

We have decided that as a team we will cycle the whole 700 miles to Besancon on an exercise bike as a relay to demonstrate our commitment.

the relay will take place over a weekend at Meadow hall in Sheffield so even if you cant donate, get down and support our amazing boys and girls.

for information the cost is made up of the coach fare, hotels and tournament entry and will enable up to 22 children to travel.
