Supporting the UK Solidarity Fund.
My name is Alex and I have been selected to represent Rutland at the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, USA in 2019! I am very proud to be representing my county and I will be one of the youngest Scouts attending from the UK.
This is an amazing opportunity to spend 2 weeks with Scouts from all over the world - a 'once in a lifetime' experience. My fundraising will also support the UK Solidarity Fund which pays for Scouts in developing countries to attend the Jamboree.
I've been tasked with the HUGE job of raising my own funds for this amazing trip, and I need your help.
I have been busy running cake stalls, bag packing, selling home-made items at craft fairs, painting fences, selling old toys, delivering leaflets and mowing lawns but I still have a mountain to climb! This is especially challenging for me as a 13 year old with limited ways to fundraise independently.
Any amount at all will go a big way to making this trip a dream come true.
