I am 16 years old and have spent the past three years racing my bike all over the country against the best youth athletes. My success so far includes the current national team champion and I stand 4th nationally for sprint (500m) and 2nd nationally for team sprint. I have spent the past year on the Great British apprenticeship Olympic programme and I am currently on the cusp of reaching my main goal of getting on to team GB for 2017 ,which would enable me to compete internationally for my country and would take me one step closer to reaching my ultimate dream of getting to the olympics. Unfortunately the expense of racing and travelling increases as I reach a higher level. At the moment I am unable to fund the coaching that is required at this level. With extra help I will have access to elite level coaching and have a better chance of reaching my goal.
