Through Girlguiding I have been given the opportunity to travel to India as part of a Community Project with a group of Guide Leaders working with a charity called Friends of Maher. While in India we will be working at an orphanage and refuge centre for disadvantaged women and children in Pune. The trip will pose many new challenges for us and hopefully will be an eye opening and wonderful experience, giving us the chance to help make a difference. For this I am walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks, a 23 mile walk up three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire, any support and sponsorship would be fantastic and thank you on advance to those who sponsor me for this.
