I've raised £200 to help fund Hospital Radio Gwendolen, at the Leicester General Hospital, by running the 2018 Leicester Half Marathon.

I plan to run the Leicester Half Marathon, on Sunday 14th October 2018, to raise money for Hospital Radio Gwendolen.
As well as raising money for this good cause, I want to run the Half Marathon because I broke my right leg in 2016 and it nearly had to be amputated, so I want to challenge myself and get back to full fitness.
I have always enjoyed running and jogging, and have always wanted to take part in a marathon, and my accident has given me a reason.
The money raised will go to towards supporting the hospital radio station where I volunteer and present a weekly show, and will be spent on its various maintenance and running costs.
The Half Marathon is just over 13 miles, so if people were to sponsor me just 20p per mile I'd reach my £200 target with fewer than 80 sponsors.
