Due to the sad and unexpected death of Thistley Hough Academy student Alex Shaw, the school community and her friends would like to support her family Emma and Wayne Shaw and Lea Elsmore (step-dad), at this difficult time by raising money to help fund the funeral of this special young lady, and their chosen charity - the Birmingham Children's Hospital. Alex was a wonderful student who always had a smile on her face, she was happy and cheerful and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
