Story
Scarborough Sea Cadets are a local charity giving outstanding opportunities to young people in the local community to develop skills and gain qualifications in a wide variety of activities. From sailing to expedition training, to power boating to learning an instrument in a band. They also help youngsters develop team work, confidence and pride in what they do, something unfortunately sometimes missing in the youth of today. They are currently in the process of developing the Castle Community centre into a purpose built training hub that would be able to cater for a variety of courses. They are also looking at buying a small power boat for instructional use and hopefully their own mini bus. My friend Alan and I who is doing the challenge with me were both members of the sea cadets, we benfitted hugely from been a part of it and made many friends for life. Its a cause very close to both of us so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
