I've raised £800 to split between The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and CLEAR (community links engagement and recovery service, a local mental health charity).

Me and my dad are cycling coast to coast in a day on 29th June this year, 150 miles from Seascale to Whitby, to raise funds and awareness for 2 extrememly important charities.
The first is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, I don’t need to explain why this is such an important charity to support, the only thing to say is that it saves lives on a daily basis and is totally charity funded which is crazy! I recently learnt that it costs around £12000 per day to keep the air ambulance flying and able to save the amount of lives that it does, therefore we want to try to do my bit to keep it running!

The second charity we are supporting is CLEAR ( Community Links Engagement And Recovery Service), this is a local charity based in Dewsbury and Huddersfield. It is a recovery focused mental health service for people with mental health needs, including anxiety and depression. They provide a range of social, leisure and skills-based activities which aim to develop confidence, motivation and self-reliance. Mental health is an area that is very close to my heart and anything that supports these great charities that literally saves peoples lives needs to done!

Please give whatever you can to support these great charities, any donation of any size is massively appreciated! Thank you!
