Story

I ran 2014 miles in 2014 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Time to get going again! So I'm asking you to help me raise the entry fee for my second attempt at an 82 mile endurance race with a 24 hour limit.

This will be the biggest physical challenge of my life and 50% of the people who attempt it, don't finish.

I'm doing this because I've seen the suffering caused to a beautiful young family member by late diagnosis of a brain tumour.

Brain tumours are the biggest childhood cancer killer. We need to act now to reduce disabilities and save the lives of children with brain tumours.

The Brain Tumour Charity is seeking support for our campaign, HeadSmart, to reduce the time of diagnosis from an unacceptable average of 3 months to less than 5 weeks. Earlier diagnosis will bring the UK up to the same standards for childhood brain cancer as other European countries and the USA - improving quality of life and saving lives.
