Defeating Dementia

As many of you might know on the 27th December 2017, my grandpa passed away. Grandpa had dementia, an ilness which caused him to forget everything and everyone around Him. And for christmas this year i am asking all my family and friends who would normally buy me presents, to not buy me anything this year, but to instead donate to this page as my christmas present, in memory of Grandpa and to help people that are battling dementia. Everyone who were to donate should know that this would mean so much to me and quite possibly be the best gift i have ever recieved as nobody should have to go through what me and my family have had to, especially to lose a loved one at that time of year, nobody deserves an ilness like that, and i wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy. I myself am dreading the thought of the christmas period and that is why i’m proud to say that im setting up this page as a fundrasing exercise as i plan on walking/running up ben nevis for the first time in my life, climbing ben nevis is normally a special achievement, and i believe climbing it for the first time for such a good cause as well as raising money for all in memory of my wee grampa would make this christmas slightly more bareable as i dont think many of my family will really get to enjoy christmas this year.

I will be donating every single penny i earn from this to the ‘Dementia Scotland’ charity in grandpas memory ❤️

I hope grandpa will be watching amd i hope he will be cheering me on,

this is for you pal ❤️👬
