Maddie and I are travelling to Panadura, in Sri Lanka, after our GCSE's in summer to coach athletics to children and young adults who are not as fortunate as we have been.

We are both extremely passionate about sport and share a love for athletics. We have both been lucky enough to have top class coaching at our fingertips and therefore we would love to share our knowledge and experience which our coaches have imparted upon us. We believe that exploring the sport in another culture would be an inspiring adventure and hugely educational to us, as young adults and young athletes.

Maddie competes for England in Heptathlon and I have competed at various National championships doing a variety of track and field events.

We are hoping to leave on the 23rd June for a month. In order for us to be able to do this, we will need to raise £5000 together. If your generosity means we exceed our sum then every penny over £5000 will be sent to save the children, where they work with children in Sri Lanka who have been left traumatized by decades of civil war.
