FLUTTERINA - Mini Pinscher Cross - the dog with her womb hanging outside her body.
DARLING FRIENDLY FLUTTERINA - The dog I have been involved in rescuing.
READ HER STORY BEFORE YOU TURN AWAY!

1...Flutterina the mummy dog now alone without her puppies.

2.She's had such a hard life out there . Running around with her womb hanging out searching for scraps for her and her babies to eat etc. .. and not knowing if her puppies were safe whilst she was gone.

3...They came to rescue the babies as in that area allegedly they round dogs up and shoot them.
Mum wasn't there. .. although she had been there on the other days they went to try and rescue the mum and Puppies.

4...Then she returns next day to find all her babies gone. And then she must have gone crazy and she went missing for weeks. She would have been searching high and low for her puppies. Imagine that !!!

5...About 3 + weeks later Flutterina our mum returns - she was very tired they said.

Imagine if you'd been in her position : homeless; searching for enough food for you and your babies. You return to find whilst your gone - your children are missing.

You know there are people rounding up puppies and dogs and shooting them.
So you go crazy. You search the immediate surrounding area. And eventually you search further and further away. ...desperately searching for clues as to the whereabouts of your babies.

6...You eventually after 3-4 weeks return to the place they were last seen.

Your mentally and physically exhausted. Your womb all this time and before they took your puppies has been hanging outside your body.

Imagine the pain Flutterina was in all this time with a prolapsed womb; mentally and physically in pain over the loss of her babies. And the pain from her hanging womb.

Ready to give up. So so so very tired and exhausted.

7...The Difficult to Catch Mum (Flutterina) is not difficult to catch anymore. And maybe there is a lingering smell or acknowledgement that this lady who rescues her now is the one who took her puppies. This lady visited before. Perhaps there is hope her puppies are ok.

Christi catches her. Flutterina is so friendly and probably so grateful.

FLASHBACK TO THE ACTUAL RESCUE OF FLUTTERINA:

1...Themis - like the hero he is - does me a favour and goes dashing off to collect her - only to find she's not caught but running away free in a field. ...and it is dark and he had to abandon the task for that night.

2...Then a couple of days after Themis goes as Christi has caught her on the proviso we will take her the same day. Which Themis duly does. He brings her to the Larnaca vet.

THE PRESENT TIME:

She's been at the vets since then as I wanted her to be much better before she leaves the vet.

She has been spayed and is having vet tests - snap tests Ifat ; vaccinations ; defleeing and deworming etc.

I've also been told - fosters want little fluffy dogs. And the rescues ' fosters are all taken.

I've been told also that if she goes to a foster and then in kennels that will break her.
But not if she goes into a foster and then a home.

In addition she is very humble - Themis informs me. I want her to learn to socialise and gain confidence. Which she will do in a foster home.
She has an offer of a possible foster home and a rescue .
