Story

Each year Worcestershire Law Society chooses a charity to support through raffles held at our events throughout the year. This year we wanted our charity to be a local cause that would give back to our own community in Worcestershire.

We discovered that Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust had started a fund to raise money for a new maternity bereavement suite at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

When we met Trudy, a specialist maternity bereavement midwife, at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and saw first hand what she and her team are trying to achieve we knew immediately that this was the cause we wanted to support.

We also knew that we wanted to something special to raise as much money as possible and the decision was made to climb Kilimanjaro as a way to promote the cause and maximise our fundraising.

Team Kili-Billies was formed. Further information about the climb and this fantastic cause can be found by visiting our website:

Your generous donations will raise funds for something tangible, something that you can say you helped to build for Worcestershire, so please give generously for this worthwhile cause.
