In June 2019 my mum had a radical historectomy. The Histology shows that she has Squamous cell carcinoma which happens to around 1 person per year in the UK. Whilst in hospital the room temperature was excessively hot and there weren’t any fans, this impacted on both staff and patients (many of which were in menopause). As a result and with gratitude to the wonderful care that she received we would like to raise money for 6 Dyson fans and filters to make life easier for those on Ward J98.
