We are raising money for the ALEXANDRA GRACE FOUNDATION.

In honour and memory of Alex, who died on December 5th, 2016. All funds raised for the Alexandra Grace Foundation will be gifted annually to support the arts and cancer research. Please read a little about our amazing sister, daughter and friend below.

PREVIOUS EVENT - 06/08/17: Lucy Todd traded hockey trainers for running shoes this summer and completed the Gloucester marathon in honour of her dear friend Alex.

About Alex...

Alex found beauty in the world and people around her, she genuinely found it. An enchanting soul, a gentle philosopher, the truest original thinker and artist; complex, truthful, deeply contemplative and inspired by a life around the globe, in Barbados, Cornwall, Uganda, Kenya and London.

A canvassing of life was present through Alex's art. The sound of a falling coconut; the wild and majestic migration across the Maasai Mara; richly colourful Caribbean palms; chattel houses full of life and history, and the complex fluctuations within her own body, all inspired Alex's richly diverse and distinctive portfolio of artistic work. Alex achieved the highest classification in her Bachelor and Master degree's in London. After university, whether hosting a tea party, teaching an art class or curating an art exhibition, Alex's charisma, charm and attention to detail was ever
present.

When diagnosed with melanoma cancer at aged 19, Alex truly did not let cancer define her. She lived, created, travelled, learned and loved even more deeply.
