Alex Couch, one of the very beat squash players of his age , long standing squash pro, personal trainer and fitness fanatic has suffered two major strokes and a series of TIAs , caused by a freak tear in his carotid artery, which wasnt picked up ifrom brain and neck scans after a first relatively small stroke .Alex went on to suffer several more TIA’s which were warnings signs of the major stroke which left him completely paralysed down his right side and unable to speak.

Alex’s progress has been slow and even his legendary determination and resolve have been severely put to the test by this crippling blow to his physicality..
